As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our customer support team.Position Summary: We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Support Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat support. You will assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all Hitch users. Please note, this position is a contract role.Key Responsibilities:Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via online chat.Assist customers with booking rides, understanding ride options, and navigating the Hitch platform.Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently and effectively, ensuring high customer satisfaction.Collaborate with other team members and departments to address complex issues and provide comprehensive support.Maintain a deep understanding of Hitch’s services, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information to customers.Record and document customer interactions, feedback, and issues in the customer support system.Identify and escalate priority issues to the team lead or manager as needed.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on customer support processes and tools.Qualifications:Previous experience in customer support or a related field, preferably in a remote setting.Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.Ability to handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Proficiency with online chat tools and customer support software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace conducive to providing professional support.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with CRM systems and support ticketing tools.Bilingual abilities are a plus.What We Offer:Competitive hourly rate.Flexible working hours.The opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative team.Join Hitch and help us make long-distance travel more accessible and enjoyable for everyone!
