Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide.HX5 is currently seeking an Enterprise Architect to support the HNII-Cloud One Division at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop reference models of the enterprise and maintaining the information in the IT repository.Determine the gaps between the current and the target architecture and recommending plans for transitioning to target architecture.Recommend the policies and principles to guide technology decisions for the enterprise architecture.Identify opportunities to improve enterprise-level systems to support business processes and utilize emerging technologies.Promote and educate customers and stakeholders on the use and value of the enterprise architecture.Provide enterprise architecture guidance, support, and coordination to customers and IT project teams.Document the enterprise architecture infrastructure, including the business units and key processes, using modeling techniques.Ensure technical integration is achieved across the enterprise by participating in test planning, validation, and reviews.Evaluate the impact of enterprise architecture products and services on IT investments, business operations, stakeholder satisfaction, and other outcomes.Coordinate and conduct governance and portfolio management activities associated with ensuring compliance with the enterprise architecture; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to all components of the enterprise architecture.Salary: This position is expected to pay $112,000-$158,300 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.Education and Experience:Must have one of the following combinations education and experience:Master's or Doctorate degree in related field and at least ten (10) years of relevant experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.Or bachelor's degree in a related field and at least twelve (12) years of relevant experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.Or fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.Minimum of three (3) years of experience designing, testing, securing Cloud Environments for an enterprise operationExpert level knowledge of Cloud tools and services to maximize performance and minimize cost for the enterpriseExperience standing up new Cloud environments and establishing guardrailsExperience working a DevSecOps approach to developmentFamiliarity and strong understanding of cyber securityExperience implementing Zero Trust segmentationFamiliarity and understanding of networking concepts (Boundaries, VPCs, Bastion hosts, firewalls)Preferred:Experience with multiple commercial cloudsExperience with Gov cloud environments and FedRAMP products and servicesExperience with migrating applications to cloudOther Position Requirements:Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.Must be able to travel, including air travel.HX5 offers a competitive salary and benefits package to include:Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance401(k) plan with Company MatchPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffParental LeaveLife InsuranceTuition ReimbursementMedical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsPet InsuranceHX5, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.HX5, LLC is a Drug Free Workplace Employer.ACCESSIBILITY NOTICE:If you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process due to a physical or mental disability, please call (850) 362-6551.#LI-ONSITE
