Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive dining experience from the start. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor tables for guest needs, ensuring timely service and addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for billing purposes. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation efforts. Assist with hosting duties as needed, including seating guests and managing reservations through OpenTable. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service and addressing inquiries or complaints effectively. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus, enhancing understanding of menu items and preparation methods. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and hospitality principles. Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy are essential.
