Assistant Engineer

This is an entry level position. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is organized, has solid communication skills, is team oriented, and personable. This position requires a dependable, and versatile individual. Candidates are not required to have an Engineer In Training (EIT) registration, but EIT registration is desirable. This position will be based in our San Mateo office.Responsibilities:Prepare simple designs, reports, and calculations in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards under general supervisionRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringCalifornia EIT Registration or actively pursuing EITExperience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDependable, problem solver, professional attitude and behaviorSelf-motivated and goal oriented, with strong attention to detailSolid experience with the MS Office SuiteWe offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation, and a 401(k) plan.
