The OT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services to help improve independence, functional abilities, and overall quality of life. This role involves working with patients experiencing physical, developmental, cognitive, or emotional limitations.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plansProvide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, coordination, strength, and functional performanceMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to support rehabilitation goalsEducate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, home programs, and safety strategiesMaintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelinesCollaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient careAssist with discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued therapy services when appropriateMaintain a safe, organized, and professional therapy environmentDeliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving functional outcomes and independenceRequirementsRequired: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy programRequired: Active OT license in state of practice or ability to obtainPreferred: Previous occupational therapy or healthcare experienceStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environmentTowne U.S. LLC Job ID #18312050.
