Data Engineer

Only Citizens or GCPlease no 3rd party candidates or H1B or OPTJob Description- Design, build, implement, and test data frameworks and solutions for ingestion, processing, and exposing data for consumption by systems, analytics, or reporting- Research and discover new methods to acquire data, and new applications for existing data and data solutions- Work with other members of the data team and Technology teams to collaborate on solutions and solve problems- Work with the Lines of Business to understand their problems and create a solution to meet their needs- Educate others around the company on best practices and usage patterns of the Data Management systemsSkills- 1-3 years of experience- Database architecture and data warehousing- Data modeling, mapping, and mining- ETL/ELT experience using SSIS, Informatica, or DataStage- Proficiency in SQL and various DBMS platforms like MS SQL, Oracle, Snowflake- Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS and scripting languages like PowerShell- Experience with reporting/visualization tools, Cognos or Tableau preferred- Proficiency in languages R, SAS, or Python preferred- Exposure to test management tools such as HP Quality Center or Zephyr- Experience with JIRA and agile methodologies- Familiarity with enterprise scheduling and automation tools- Exposure to Data Governance and Data Quality software and solutions- Excellent communication and documentation skills- Business acumen, with a preference of Banking/Financial Services experience
