Aquatics Supervisor - Full-time

With a focus on safety, innovation, and fun, youll ensure our team exceeds!Salary Starting at $50-60K a yearResponsibilities: Overseeing all operational functions related to the safe and efficient operation of Hurricane HarborEnsuring 100% compliance with standard operating procedures and safety standards as they relate to Six Flags and/or Federal or State guidelinesSupervising seasonal Team Members and leadership, including hiring, disciplinary action, rewards/recognition, and termination decisionsEnsuring proper staffing levels are maintained and assist in specialized recruiting when necessaryMonitoring and ensuring compliance with all aspects of the Ellis & Associates program to include lifeguard certification and in-service trainingWorking with Operations Manager to develop and track annual operating budget and business planModeling and enforcing all park policies and procedures and maintaining all Six Flags standardsTraining, auditing, and adhering to labor laws and policies to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and park policyResponsible for interacting with Guests and resolving complaints and addressing concernsCoordinating all activities including training, recruiting, and winterization functionsAssisting in other areas of the park during strategic time framesPerforming other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags New EnglandQualifications: Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Program (ILTP) Special Facilities Certification; Ellis & Associates ILTP Instructor Certification preferred not requiredDegree or relevant work experience in theme park operations; minimum of three years supervisory experienceStrong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detailCapacity to think and act intentionally and strategically to help improve the overall operationCapacity for creative problem-solving and conflict resolutionStrong work ethic and sense of funWilling to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAble to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, etc.18 years old or older with a valid drivers license and clean driving history
