Armed Security Officer

Job Summary: Silver Shield Inc. currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of law enforcement procedures. Shifts Available: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NO WEEKENDS!!!!! Full-Time Officers: 40 hours a week 7:45- 5:15pm Monday through Sunday Part-Time Flex Officers: 8-14 hours a week between 7:45- 5:15pm Monday through Friday Duties: - Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity - Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances - Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergency situations - Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access - Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards - Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities - Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary Skills: - Strong surveillance skills to effectively monitor premises using CCTV systems - Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally - Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including arrest techniques and legal rights - CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed - Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to prevent theft or damage to property Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Proven 2 years of work experience as a Security Officer with Level 3 Certification Must possess a valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Must have your own duty belt and handgun Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Opportunities for career advancement within the security field If you are a dedicated individual with strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safety, we encourage you to apply for the position of Security Officer.
