We are currently seeking a strong, hands-on Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our leadership team. Position Overview The Assistant Kitchen Manager plays a critical role in the daily operation and success of the kitchen. This leader will work directly alongside the Kitchen Manager and Operating Partner to execute high-quality food, maintain kitchen standards, lead cooks by example, and help drive operational excellence. This is a working management position that requires strong leadership, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in a high-volume scratch kitchen environment. Responsibilities Execute line functions and lead by example during service Assist with daily kitchen operations in a fully scratch kitchen Cut and portion meats and seafood in-house to company specifications Support ordering, inventory management, and product rotation Manage prep production and kitchen organization Train, coach, and develop line cooks and prep cooks Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards Ensure proper sanitation, safety, and cleanliness procedures are followed Assist in labor management and scheduling Help create a positive, accountable, team-driven culture What We’re Looking For Previous kitchen leadership experience preferred Strong line execution and scratch cooking knowledge Experience with meat cutting and portioning is highly preferred Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for hospitality, quality, and team development Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed What We Offer Competitive pay Growth opportunities within a locally owned restaurant group Supportive team environment Opportunity to be part of a respected, quality-driven concept Hands-on leadership culture where your impact matters If you are passionate about scratch cooking, leadership, and delivering a great guest experience through exceptional kitchen execution, we’d love to meet you.
