Seafood Processor/Order Packer

As a member of our Seafood Team, your role will include packing orders for grocery stores and white table cloth restaurants as well as cleaning fish and servicing our customers in the retail market. DUTIES: Preparing, filleting, and packaging fish. Receiving product ensuring quality standards are met and inventory entry. Input customer orders and weights into tablet/computer system. Provide outstanding customer service; ensure customer needs are met in a timely fashion. Conduct inventory of fresh product Locate product, tag items, help with receiving incoming seafood, organizing area and pack orders for wholesale and retail customers. Follow department procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, and stocking product. Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate with Filleters and Cutters throughout shift to notify of any changes, shortages, or other adjustments Operate cash register. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations Willing to learn to clean, bone, slice, scale and filet multiple varieties of fresh fish delivered daily to our location. Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, twist, and stand for long periods of time. Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department, including availability to work on Saturdays.
