Project Manager/Estimator (Heavy Civil)

This role is ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact—on projects, people, and their own careerWhat You’ll Be Doing:Project Estimator Duties (Include but are not limited to):Innovative and Creative Approach to Building ProjectsRisk analysisPrepare and submit estimates in compliance with contract documentsComplete understanding of the plans, specs, and scope of workMentor and supervise Project Engineers/Assistant Estimators with:RFP’s to subs and vendorsCoordinate Quantity Take-OffsSubcontractor and Vendor quotes reviewPrepare and attend project hand-off meetingProject Manager Duties (Include but are not limited to):Manage Project - Team Support - Assist All (KE&G, Subs, Owners, Etc.)Attend project meetingsDiscuss safety, quality, schedule, and productivity with the TeamJob cost tracking & monthly forecastPrepare and submit pay applicationFinalize unresolved issuesMentor and supervise Project Engineers with:Review Sub Pay AppsPrepare and submit change ordersRFI'sProject Closeout documents required by owner & KE&GAll other duties assigned. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without noticeRequirementsInfrastructure: Highways, roadways, and bridges, underground utilities, earthwork, concrete, and pavingUtilities: Wastewater treatment plants, booster treatment plants, water treatment plants, and reservoir rehabilitationJob Order Contracts (JOC): Experience with JOC projects preferredDevelopment: Site development and related infrastructure workExperience with asphalt is a plusDemonstrated longevity in previous rolesPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentRegularly required to sit, use hands, talk/hear, and operate computersAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate active construction sitesWork both in office and field environments; outdoors in varied weather conditionsExposure to dust, machinery, noise, uneven terrain, and site-related conditionsOccasional extended hours may be necessary to meet project deadlinesWhy KE&G?At KE&G, we believe in building more than just projects—we build people.
