The company encourages its employees to explore creative solutions and stay updated with the latest technology trends.Salary Range: $160K-$180K/AnnumJob Description:The Project Delivery Manager (DM) is responsible to direct and manage all aspects of project development from beginning to end and ensure effective delivery of the product to the client.The DM reviews the project status and provides oversight, manages resources, maintains relationship with the client, manages internal collaboration, change, risk and escalation to ensure project profitability.Must Have Skills: Application development background with fixed-bid delivery experienceUS SLED/Public Sector experience is a plus!Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementManage various critical aspects of a project: scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, risks and communicationManage timely, high-quality, and cost-effective service delivery to the clientIdentify business needs of the client, act as an interface between the technical team and the clientCreate project plan to track progress, plan timelines and share with clientWork with the Architect and Technical Lead to prioritize and track new functionality and ongoing releasesProvide support during Validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases with the client team to ensure all business requirements are metProvide regular status updates to stakeholders on project progressManage project dependencies and critical path, track project timelines and milestonesWork with QA and Documentation teams to ensure success of the total projectMaintain overall schedule, timeliness of the team s deliverablesResource ManagementCoach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned workEnsure that each team member has adequate skills and knowledge on technology, project management and software engineering processesReward and recognize performanceIdentify and resolve any outstanding issues among the project teams, that cannot be resolved within the teamRelationship ManagementObtain and Communicate the Client s feedback on project progress and success factors to the project team and other stakeholdersIdentify farming opportunitiesLead the project initiation activityWork with Project Manager to drive growth, quality and customer satisfactionInternal Collaboration:Ensure regular collaboration with senior management, Project Manager and project stakeholders at clientEnsure proper handover from sales to deliveryChange Management - review/approve changes affecting scope, timing, cost, and/or quality, as requiredEscalation ManagementBe the point of escalation for all delivery related issuesRisk ManagementMonitor risks, develop and execute risk mitigation plan with the project manager, at completion of every major milestone including project closureProvide management oversight as predicated by review of the project risk analysisProject Profitability / FinanceEnsures the profitability of the project/sReview and close project account and financial files on project closureQuality ManagementEnsure the quality of the deliverables and client satisfactionUnderstand the expectations of various stakeholders and seeks to satisfy them: client, users, governance group, senior management, team, support groupsQualifications10+ years of project management experience and fixed-bid projectsPMP certification requiredProven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlinesStrong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocations, especially in fixed-bid environmentsExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentBachelor s degree in business, IT, or a related fieldPreferred Skills:Experience in consulting or professional services industriesFamiliarity with software development projectsUnderstanding of public sector compliance and procurement processesAbout ApTask:ApTask is a leading global provider of workforce solutions and talent acquisition services, dedicated to shaping the future of work.
