Flat Bed Driver / Class C

*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and loading tasks. The Truck Driver will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. *Duties* * Operate a box truck or similar vehicle for route driving, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods. * Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual handling techniques when necessary. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, any incidents that occur during transport, and receive signatures for all deliveries. * Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle. *Requirements* * Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred but not always required based on the type of vehicle driven. * Experience in route driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is a plus. * Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job. * Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining delivery records. * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Must know how to strap down pallets.
