Fluid's Client is seeking a Data Engineer to build and modernize the pipelines, orchestration, and warehouse infrastructure powering company-wide analytics and operations. This role focuses on reliability, scalability, and replacing legacy systems.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain data extraction pipelines into BigQueryModernize legacy extraction and transformation processesImplement monitoring, alerting, and workflow visibilityHelp design and implement orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect)Support DBT models and CI/CD workflowsMaintain and optimize BigQuery warehouse performanceManage BigQuery security, access, and SOC 2 controlsDocument data flows and maintain catalogsRequired Qualifications3+ years of data engineering experienceStrong SQL and experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, or RedshiftExperience with orchestration tools (Airflow/Dagster/Prefect)Experience with GCP (Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage)Experience with DBT, Docker, CI/CDExperience with Fivetran or similar ingestion toolsBackground in data governance or SOC 2CompensationStarting at $130,000 OTE, with adjustments based on experience and location.LocationUS Remote.
