Warehouse Associate

About the Role Montana is a leading electrical and infrastructure distributor serving major commercial and industrial projects. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and wire cutting. This role is hands-on and critical to our customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and damage Accurately barcode and scan inventory using warehouse management systems Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment Cut electrical wire and cable to customer specifications Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred) Maintain organized inventory and storage areas Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits Ensure compliance with safety protocols Qualifications Experience in electrical distribution, industrial supply, or construction materials preferred Familiarity with wire and cable products strongly preferred Experience using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems Ability to lift 35+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods Forklift certification a plus Strong attention to detail and reliability Work Environment & Hours 35–50 hours per week Overtime paid after 35 hours Union position Fast-paced warehouse environment supporting large commercial projects
