What You'll Be Doing
Operate and monitor bulk cement terminal equipment, including railcar unloading systems and material transfer equipment
Troubleshoot and perform hands-on maintenance to keep equipment running and minimize downtime
Load and unload cement from railcars and trucks while ensuring efficient and safe material flow
Inspect equipment, identify issues, and complete basic mechanical repairs using tools and diagnostic skills
Ensure accuracy of orders, documentation, and inventory records
What Are We Looking For
Experience in industrial, mechanical, rail, construction, or heavy equipment environments (not just warehouse)
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools for troubleshooting and basic repairs
Experience operating or working around heavy equipment, conveyors, or bulk material systems
Ability to work independently and take ownership of equipment and daily operations
Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
Work Environment
This role is based in an outdoor/industrial terminal environment and involves working around heavy equipment, moving materials, and varying weather conditions. Physical activity, including standing, walking, and manual tasks, is a regular part of the job, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.
