Automatic Test Engineer

About Us Advanced Testing Technologies, Inc. (ATTI) is a leading aerospace defense manufacturing firm in the Long Island area, dedicated to the development and production of Automatic Test Systems (ATS) and avionics support equipment. The Role We are seeking highly motivated entry level Automatic Test Engineers to join ATTI's systems engineering team for the development and integration of automated test solutions. You will be responsible for testing hardware and software, designing Test Program Sets (TPS) and automating procedures to verify and validate complex electronic systems. Key Responsibilities . Design, develop, and integrate Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Interface Test Adaptors (ITA) for complex system testing. . Develop automated test scripts and software utilizing languages such as C++, C#, or LabVIEW. . Create detailed Test Requirements Documents (TRDs) and execute validation and verification (V & V) procedures. . Work hands-on in the engineering lab with test equipment and data acquisition systems. . Troubleshoot test system issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Qualifications & Skills . Education B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM discipline. . Experience Experience in test engineering, focusing on ATE design, testability, and systems integration is a plus. . Technical Proficiencies: Strong background in programming/scripting (C# or LabVIEW) and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing. . Preferred: Familiarity with RF measurement techniques, boundary scan/JTAG, and DOD/military aviation environments.
