MUST BE A LICENSED DOCTOR OF OPTOMETRY A Privately owned office with an Optical in Leander TX, is looking for an Optometrist with friendly demeanor, team player with excellent skills to join our growing practice in Leander TX ( 20 min north of ATX ). Optometrist responsibility include analyzing vision tests, identifying sight problems and prescribing corrective lenses and eyeglasses. To be successful in this role, you should have attention to detail and be able to treat all kinds of patients with kindness and discretion. Note that to be considered for this position, you need to be a licensed OD in the state of Texas. Multiple Exam rooms. Very high tech with digital phoropters, OCT, Optomap, Topographer and more. All Prelim work is done by staff. Revolution EHR. Patients are scheduled every 20 min. ( max 3 patients an hour ) Skills Work experience as an Optometrist or Extern New Grad. In-depth understanding of eye conditions and vision defects Hands-on experience with eye examination tools, such as ophthalmoscope and tonometer The ability to explain medical terms simply and calmly Attention to details Degree in Optometry Base salary with a goal oriented bonus.
