Hiring: Production Support Engineer – SQL / Linux / PythonLocation: Nashville, TN( Hybrid, 3 days onsite)Duration: Long-Term Contract*Final Round: In-Person interview (Mandatory)We are looking for a Production Support Engineer to join the FIT Support Team and provide application, batch, user, and trading support within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SQL, Linux, Python/Scripting, and job scheduling tools, along with exposure to the BFSI domain.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and support existing applications and production processesProvide batch, user, and trading supportMonitor and troubleshoot production issues and resolve code-related problems when requiredAnalyze and troubleshoot application and system issuesWork with SQL and databases to investigate and resolve production issuesUse Linux commands and shell scripting for troubleshooting and support activitiesCollaborate effectively with development, operations, and business teamsParticipate in shift-based production support activitiesMaintain a positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach🔹 Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with SQL and RDBMSStrong knowledge of Linux commandsExperience with Python and/or scriptingHands-on experience with Shell ScriptingKnowledge of job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Airflow, or similarExperience in production/application supportStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to work in shiftsExposure to the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) domainExperience with Fixed Income and/or Multi-Asset applications is highly preferred🔹 Additional RequirementsMust be a local candidate who can work onsite 3 days per weekMust be available for a second-level/in-person interview if requiredMust be authorized to work as a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or GC EAD
