This individual will be required to work alongside a larger creative team and interact across the board with clients, retail specialists and product designers. There is a need to understand the requirements and possibilities of design and apply a graphic skin of the various retail solutions that our product designers create.They create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for physical or digital point of sale retail design. Brainstorming and coming up with creative solutions for briefs and presenting your work professionally to your team and client (sell your work to your team first).In addition to bringing a killer attitude and energy, this individual must be able to:Engagement in interactive design sessions and brainstormsReceive briefs and design direction from studio traffic system assisting in a smooth handover from the client service and strategy teamsConceptualization and design research. Assisting in generating exploratory mood boards by gathering literature and internet resourcesAssist in generating concepts and visualizing them by sketching and / or mock-upsCAD modeling and CAD visualizationsBe creative, adaptable to trends and conceptualize original ideasDevelop your concept in Adobe software (Photoshop, InDesign and illustrator)Present your work in a client ready presentation for the account teamsWork through reverts efficiently to finalize designsBe able to setup design for production in IllustratorWork well with the product design teams to ensure your designs can be produced correctlyCreative storyteller who brings simplicity and user centricityQualificationsMinimum of 2+ years of experience in Graphic DesignA diploma or degree qualification in designSoftware literacy in Adobe Creative Suite and MS OfficeBrand experienceFriendly and dynamic dispositionStrategic thinkerCreative mind providing excellent designsAbility to communicate with peopleA positive and respectful attitudeAbility to work in the office on average 4 days a week.Salary & BenefitsThe salary range for this role is $55,000 to $81,000**exact compensation will be determined based on individual experienceBenefits include:Unlimited PTOMedical, Dental, Vision (with an option for free medical care!)401K with a % matchVarious maternity/paternity leave optionsFully funded disability and life insurance optionsHeadspace subscriptionWellness Stipendand more....
