HVAC TechnicianYou will perform residential and light-commercial HVAC system maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics in accordance with our company's high-quality service standards while providing the customer with a 5-star experience.Perform detailed and accurate system diagnosticsPerform preventative maintenanceCreate repair estimates, propose options, and ask for the saleExecute repair work with skill and precisionPhotograph equipment and components before and after repairRecord measurements and data on diagnostic formsIdentify preventative and enhancement solutions, create estimates, and proposeRequisition parts and materialsMaintain clean and orderly vehicleOther duties as assignedAbilities, Skills & KnowhowProficiency in charging and recovering refrigerantProficiency in advanced refrigeration cycle diagnosticsProficiency trouble-shooting electrical components and circuitsProficiency in airflow and ECM motor diagnosticsProficiency with gas heating diagnostics and repairProficiency with heat pumps, defrost cycle, reversing valves, and TXVsProficiency with ductless, two-stage, and variable capacity technologyProficiency in brazing, pressure testing, and vacuumingAbility to proficiently problem solve in dynamic and stressful environmentsAbility to handle a physical workload in demanding environmentsAbility to efficiently repair equipment in fast-paced environmentConfident social skillsPositive and enthusiasticRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 6-months previous related experience or skilled training programMust maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable by the Company's insurance carrierMust maintain the ability to pass a background check and drug screeningMust have an EPA Certification
