Job ResponsibilitiesThe Agency's mission is to be boldly innovative in improving the health and quality of life for South Carolinians.This position is located in Facilities Management & Resources, Richland County.This is an in-office role and not a telecommute or remote position.Are you the One? We are looking for a Program Coordinator I (Site Assessment Coordinator) who, under the direct supervision of the Facilities Management and Resources (FMR) Project Manager I, provides support for the FMR projects and follow up for offices located statewide. Ensures compliance with the Department's security policies and procedures, building issues, assesses needs and possible improvements. Establishes and maintains positive and professional relationships with internal and external agency constituents. Maintains both the highest level of professionalism and strictest confidentiality of information.Assist the Facilities Project Manager with the following: maintenance and management of project documentation, budget/project expense tracking, project reports and reporting, maintain effective collaboration with stakeholders to establish efficient workflows.Assist or manage special projects or facilities follow up items as assigned.Maintain site assessments and manage and monitor follow up items at the Jefferson Square Building.Completion of all other assigned duties from supervisor in a timely manner.The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services offers an exceptional benefits package for FTE and TGE positions that includes:Health, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance for Employee, Spouse, and Children.15 days annual (vacation) leave per year.15 days sick leave per year.13 paid holidays.State Retirement Plan and Deferred Compensation Programs.Minimum and Additional RequirementsA high school diploma and relevant program experience.Additional Requirements:Sitting or standing for long periods of time.Valid driver's license.Occasional overnight travel.Requires holder to driver routinely.Overtime and/or weekend work with Deputy approval.Lifting requirements: 30 lbs.Must travel routinely to all statewide South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (the Department) locations.In-office role.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of laws, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to the area of employment.Ability to exercise judgement and discretion as well as maintain confidentiality.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.Ability to interpret and apply, regulations, policies and procedures.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks and projects with competing and/or shifting deadlines.Ability to communicate and collaborate with staff from different levels of the workforce.Additional CommentsPlease complete the State application to include all current and previous work history and education.
