Warehouse Lead / box truck driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Lead / Box Truck Driver to oversee daily warehouse operations and manage delivery routes. This role involves coordinating shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse experience, commercial driving skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Duties Lead warehouse activities including loading, unloading, and organizing inventory using forklifts and pallet jacks Drive box trucks for local deliveries, adhering to route schedules and safety protocols Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling of heavy items through manual lifting or equipment Perform route driving tasks with precision, maintaining timely delivery schedules Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and order picking Ensure safety procedures are followed during all warehouse and driving activities Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns professionally Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment Operate manual transmission vehicles safely and responsibly as part of daily duties Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations and logistics management Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license or courier certification Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Strong knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of large or bulky items safely Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines Leadership skills to supervise warehouse staff and coordinate daily activities Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable This role is essential for ensuring efficient warehouse operations and reliable delivery services.
