Job Title: CNC Operator – 1st ShiftLocation: Garden City, NYPosition SummaryWe are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment to manufacture precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working to tight tolerances and interpreting technical documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate vertical and/or horizontal CNC milling machinesSet up and run conventional milling machinesMachine detailed parts and final assemblies using engineering drawings and method sheetsUtilize fixtures and drill jigs to ensure accuracy and consistencyPerform first-piece inspections to verify conformance to specificationsMaintain tight tolerances of up to ±0.0005Edit CNC programs as needed to optimize performance and accuracyFollow all work instructions, setups, and safety proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 5 years of CNC and conventional machining experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience with first-piece inspection processesStrong understanding of machining methods, setups, and toolingAbility to edit CNC programs Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 35 lbsAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksPay Details: $26.00 to $35.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
