Line Cook

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare menu items according to Johnny Carino's recipes, plate presentations and specifications within cook time requirementsRead food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by Guest and prepare and cook food according to instructionsOperate large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens, stoves, and dishwashersComplete all assigned prep workPractice sanitary and safe food handling at all timesSet up work stationComplete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projectsBe a core team member in a fast-paced kitchenQualifications and Skills:* Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age* Previous Line Cook or cooking experience preferredPhysical Demands:Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc., up to 50 pounds in weightAbility to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelvesMobility required during the entire shiftMust be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in lengthWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer
