Head of Investor Relations | Hedge Fund | Greenwich, CTA highly entrepreneurial long/short hedge fund is seeking its first dedicated Head of Investor Relations to lead all investor-facing activity across capital raising, marketing, and client engagement.The firm runs a focused, high-conviction strategy within the technology sector and has built a strong track record since launch, growing meaningfully from a seed allocation into an established platform. With the business now entering its next phase of growth and infrastructure build-out, this is a rare opportunity to join at an inflection point and work directly alongside the founders.This is not a traditional IR role with layers of support or siloed responsibilities. The successful candidate will own the entire function, shaping the firm’s external profile, driving fundraising strategy, managing existing LP relationships, and building institutional connectivity globally.The environment is lean, ambitious, and intensely collaborative. The team today consists solely of the CIO and COO, meaning this hire will operate as a genuine partner to the business and have significant influence over how the platform evolves commercially.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all investor relations, capital raising, and marketing initiatives globallyBuild and execute the firm’s fundraising strategy across institutional investors and family officesDevelop investor materials, messaging, and broader brand positioningManage existing LP relationships and ongoing communicationsCoordinate conferences, roadshows, and proactive investor outreachWork closely with the founders on strategic growth initiatives and long-term business developmentCandidate ProfileApproximately 10+ years’ experience within hedge fund IR, fundraising, or distributionStrong understanding of institutional allocators and family officesCapable of operating independently in a highly entrepreneurial environmentComfortable building processes, infrastructure, and strategy from scratchCredible communicator with the gravitas to engage sophisticated investorsCould suit an established VP-level candidate looking to step into a broader leadership roleThe role is based in Greenwich, CT and will require a meaningful in-office presence initially, alongside regular travel for investor meetings and conferences.Compensation will be competitive, with significant upside tied to both individual and fund performance.
