This role ensures efficient production, high-quality output, and a safe, organized work environment while leading and developing shop personnel.The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication and is highly skilled in programming and operating turret punch presses, press brakes, and other fabrication equipment. This individual will also be responsible for managing personnel, coordinating workflow, and maintaining production schedules.Responsibilities:Supervise and lead second-shift shop personnel to meet production goals and deadlinesProgram, set up, and operate turret punch presses, press brakes, and other sheet metal fabrication machinesInterpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate productionPlan and coordinate daily production schedules and workflowEnsure all parts meet quality standards and specifications through regular inspectionsTroubleshoot equipment, tooling, and process issues to minimize downtimeTrain, mentor, and evaluate team members to improve performance and skill developmentEnforce company policies, safety procedures, and proper use of PPEMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environmentCollaborate with engineering and management teams to improve processes and productivityQualifications:Extensive experience in sheet metal fabrication (required)Strong experience programming and operating turret punch presses and press brakes (required)Proven experience managing and supervising personnel in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement planPaid time offProfessional development opportunitiesDynamic and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.
