Production Material Handler I

Job Title: Material Handler Job Summary: Under direct supervision, the Material Handler is responsible for handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products within manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. This role supports daily operations by ensuring materials are accurately tracked, properly stored, and efficiently moved throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities:Load, unload, move, and store materials within the facilityMaintain the flow of materials and products in manufacturing areasProvide accurate information for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials and suppliesPick, stage, and prepare materials for production or shipmentInspect materials for damage and ensure proper handlingOperate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as neededFollow all safety procedures and company policies Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 lbsBasic knowledge of warehouse or manufacturing operationsExperience operating material handling equipment is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Work Environment: Manufacturing or warehouse setting involving physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment throughout the shift.
