Medical Assistant - Credentialed for OBGYN (NE Portland)

We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our clinical team at the Providence Plaza Medical Center campus in NE Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care. Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, strong at multitasking and dedicated to high quality patient care. Previous OBGYN experience is a plus! Primary duties include rooming patients, assisting with in-office surgical procedures, patient education, and be part of our workflow improvement team as we strive to provide the best patient care. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and solid prior clinical experience. This position will primarily support our physician team with daily operations of patient care. Workdays will be Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm or 7:30am - 4:30pm. No weekends! 8 paid holidays! Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials: Level I - $21.66- $29.30 per hour. Level II - $23.82 - $32.23 per hour. Level III - $26.21 - $35.46 per hour. Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties. Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees. Qualifications: Must be a Credentialed Medical Assistant (AAMA, NCCT or similar are acceptable). Minimum 1 year prior OBGYN experience strongly preferred. Previous scheduling and EMR experience preferred; EPIC experience a plus! Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
