We're committed to quality, innovation, and providing a clean, well-organized workplace where employees can thrive.We are currently seeking an experienced Pulling/Marking & Cleaning Line Operator to join our team.Position OverviewThe Pulling/Marking Operator & Cleaning Line is responsible for operating all machinery related to marking and the cleaning line. This role requires strong attention to detail, perform machine maintenance, and follow/complete necessary production paperwork.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate all machinery related to marking (etching) and cleaning lines according to established specifications and controlsRead and follow production schedules, work orders, routings, and sequencesHandle materials, including dispatching required blanks and materials to manufacturing ordersMonitor machine operations by observing movement of parts, gauges, dials, and machine sounds to identify potential issuesTroubleshoot equipment and make adjustments to resolve setup or operational problemsInterpret drawings and item attributes to ensure correct processingPerform in-process inspections per established inspection requirements and protocolsMaintain product specifications using appropriate inspection tools and equipmentPerform routine operator maintenance as requiredDemonstrate proper knowledge and use of required toolingAccurately complete all job-related documentation and shop-floor data collectionAssist with training and mentoring additional employeesPerform all duties necessary to successfully operate and maintain Cleaning Line(s)Carry out other related duties as assigned by Supervisor or ManagementEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredCareer and Technical Education (CTE) coursework preferred but not requiredQualificationsBasic mathematical skills (algebra, geometry, trigonometry preferred)Critical thinking and Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) skillsJob-specific tooling knowledgeAbility to use hand trucks and material-handling equipmentKnowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, and related accessoriesPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, sit, and work in physically demanding positions for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Strong finger dexterity and ability to perform repetitive motionsAbility to work safely around machine tools with operating partsWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and holidaysGender Neutral Paid Parental Leave 14 weeks at 90% of wageRetirement plan options 5% employer contribution plus a 3% employer match on 6% employee contributionOpportunities for skill development and internal advancementSupportive team environmentSeco Tools, a subsidiary of Sandvik, is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
