Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified Surgical Technician Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Prepare the surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and sterile solutions, as well as appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. Hand required/requested instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery. Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients. Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instrument counts throughout procedures. This is a busy level II trauma center with 8 operating rooms. Ancillary staff includes patient care technicians, supervisors, and team leads. Scrub color is sky blue. No floating to other units is required. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner.
