Shift HoursTypically 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-FridayJob DescriptionVerifies dimensional size of materials such as plates, structural shapes, castings, weldments and assemblies.Successful candidate will train on and learn our CMM, Faro Arm, and Laser Tracker equipment.Essential DutiesPrimary accountability is in support of projects to assure quality parts to the customer.Facilitate problem-solving and issue resolution through formal documentation.Work requires experience managing projects, performing data analysis, and improving work processes.Education LevelMinimum of an Associates' degree preferred (in a related field)ExperiencePrevious experience in a manufacturing environment is required.Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.Work requires the ability to use tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.Strong GD&T training/experience preferred.A familiarity with sophisticated inspection equipment (CMM and FARO) is highly desired.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 lbs.
