Junior Sales Representative

Company DescriptionKlean Crave is an emerging, plant-based CPG brand based in the Bay Area, focused on high-quality chia puddings ,for breakfast and dessert like snacking, with strong ingredient integrity and local presence. We are looking for an experienced, self-driven sales professional to help build retail distribution locally.Role Overview:This is a field-based role focused on building retail relationships, opening new accounts, increasing product velocity, and strengthening brand presence within the San Francisco Bay Area.This is 70% New Account Development + 30% Account Growth & In-Store SupportDutiesYou will be responsible for:New Account DevelopmentProspecting and opening new retail accounts (independent grocery, specialty stores, coffee shops , cafes, wellness shops etc.)Initiate contact with prospective clients through cold calling, targeted email, and / or LinkedIn.Present product in person and close new retail accountsFollow up consistently to move accounts to first order.Account Growth & In-Store SupportBuilding and maintaining relationships with store buyers and owners - existing and newConducting in-person store visits as neededTracking visits, wins, and sharing weekly updatesQualificationsProven experience in CPG field sales (food & beverage preferred) for 1 - 2 yearsA self-starter mentality with the resilience to handle the "no’s" and the drive to thrive in flexible, performance-driven environmentsExperience calling on independent grocery or specialty retailStrong ability in starting conversations and speaking with decision-makersComfortable with both phone/email prospecting and in-person sellinBased in the SF Bay Area with clean driving recordCompensation$20–25/hour (based on experience) + Commission on new accountsHours: ~10–12 hrs/week, flexiblePerformance-based growth opportunity as territory expandsInterested ?
