As a design-build company located in Walpole, NH, we are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing team.Primary ResponsibilitiesCommunicate directly with clients, builders, and subcontractors regarding all aspects of BWC package fulfillmentCollaborate with changing teams of architects, designers, and engineers to ensure project feasibilityWork with in-house estimators to project cost information. Track and update costs throughout the building processDevelop and maintain project schedulesPrepare contracts and change orders, including negotiation on terms & conditionsAssess and monitor conditions and progress on site, principally through communication from our office; and occasionally through site visitsMaintain excellent and easily-retrievable documentation of processes, including meeting agendas and minutes, client decisions, specifications, job reports, and written and verbal communicationWork within PM department toward continuous improvement of processes and productsOther duties as assignedQualifications5+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial construction requiredMinimum 1-3 years employment history as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager requiredBachelor's degree in a relevant field of study preferred and a high school diploma (or equivalent) requiredStrong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to detail requiredProficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, web-based scheduling and communication toolsExperience using database accounting and project management software requiredBasic facility with 2d and 3d CAD-based software requiredExpert level oral and written communication skills requiredEven-keeled personality with strong self-management skills requiredExperience using Filemaker databases, Microsoft and Google Applications, and Sage 100 Contractor accounting software preferredDemonstrated history of delivering projects on time and on budget preferredKnowledge of high-performance building systems preferredExperience managing internal and external project teams, including Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors preferredExperience with the Design-Build method preferredExperience working with AIA contracts and documentation preferredAdditional Attributes Of SuccessPositive, can-do team player with strong problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to:Complete assignments accuratelyOrganize and prioritize work to meet deadlinesWork independently and collaboratively within a team setting with excellent interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written skillsComputer literacy with the ability to work in all Microsoft and Google applicationsStrong belief in customer service and satisfactionAbility and flexibility to take on other responsibilities as assignedCompensation & BenefitsCompensation will be based on skill level and experience.
