Structural Designer

Location: Company Headquarters is in San Antonio, Texas (Garden Ridge Area), but this position is flexible to Work From Home depending on skill and experience levels.Job Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Structural Designer to support our engineering team in developing accurate, high-quality structural drawings and models. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning engineering concepts into clear, buildable plans and working collaboratively across disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and revise structural drawings, plans, and 3D models for a variety of projectsAssist engineers with design development, calculations, and documentationPrepare construction documents, including plans, sections, and detailsCoordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionalsEnsure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirementsReview shop drawings and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information)Maintain organized project files and documentationQualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field2+ years of experience in structural drafting/designProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or other design softwareUnderstanding of structural systems, materials, and construction methodsFamiliarity with building codes and industry standardsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience working on commercial or industrial projectsKnowledge of BIM processes and workflowsAbility to interpret engineering calculations and sketchesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth InsuranceIRA with company matchPaid time off and holidaysFlexible work environmentOpportunities for career growth and skill developmentHow To ApplyPlease submit your resume and a portfolio of relevant work (if available).
