Associate Attorney Established (75+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking an Attorney in Austin, TX! An established firm based in Austin, TX with over 75 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 4-7+ years of civil litigation experience to join their team onsite. This role focuses on defense litigation, including product liability, premises liability, trucking and transportation, construction litigation, and other matters involving catastrophic personal injury or property damage, with hands-on case management under partner oversight in a fast-paced, collegial environment. Offer: Salary range: $135,000-$185,000+, contingent on experience plus agressive bonus structure Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution Paid time off, firm holidays, and parental leave Professional development support and CLE reimbursement Qualifications: Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas Brings 4-7+ years of civil litigation experience with a preference for defense orientation Demonstrates strong litigation skills across depositions, hearings, and trials Possesses excellent advocacy and legal writing abilities Capable of managing a case independently while remaining receptive to partner direction Responsibilities: Defend clients in various litigation matters Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials with limited oversight Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity Manage active caseloads from pre-suit posture through resolution Collaborate with partners while independently advancing case strategy Advise clients on litigation risk, compliance, and exposure For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
