Estimating Coordinator
Job Overview:The role is for a full-time Bid Coordinator who oversees and coordinates the preparation and submission of bids and proposals. This includes collecting required information, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and managing tight deadlines. The position plays a key part in making sure all documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.Responsibilities:• Assist Estimating with bidding process as required• Set-up projects in Procore• Establish and update project directories in Procore• Create, monitor, and update subcontractor pre-qualification documents and database in Procore• Download plans, specifications, and all documents into Procore and track document updates• Assist estimating with Bid Packages and bid lists• Issue invites, distribute plans, specifications, addenda, Bid Packages, schedule, RFIs, schedules, etc. thru Procore and ensure subcontractors upload all required documentation• Monitor & Expedite sub-contractors to assure proper bid coverage and on time bid submission• Follow up on RFIs both to and from the design team and subcontractors• Maintain accurate project data and files in Procore• Assist estimating with scope reviews and preparing submission of estimates• Courtesy follow-up with subcontractors after bid awardRequired Qualifications:Proficiency with construction management and office software including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (especially Excell and Power)Strong understanding of construction estimating, project scheduling, and project management principlesAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accuratelyExperience with contracts, scope of work development, and bid documentation proceduresProactive, Organized, and AccountableDeadline and detail orientedExcellent time management skills and ability to multitaskStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh School diploma or GEDMust be eligible to work in the United StatesValid driver license
