Job Title: Workday Analyst / Senior Workday AnalystLocation: Waltham, MA (Hybrid 3 days onsite)Duration: Direct HireSalary Range:Workday Analyst: $80K $94K/annumSenior Workday Analyst: $100K $110K/annumJob Description:We are seeking two experienced Workday professionals (Analyst and Senior Analyst) to join a well-established higher education environment with a fully deployed Workday ecosystem across HCM, Finance, and Student. This role offers the opportunity to support and enhance critical enterprise systems while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a highly stable and employee-focused organization.The ideal candidate will bring strong functional and technical expertise in Workday, with the ability to analyze business needs, configure solutions, and support ongoing system optimization. This is a hybrid role offering excellent work-life balance, a 35-hour work week, and a comprehensive benefits package.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, maintain, and optimize Workday business processes, including condition rulesSupport Workday modules across HCM, Finance, and Student systemsDevelop and maintain Workday reports, calculated fields, and custom objects (Senior level expectation)Assist with Workday security configuration and user access managementSupport Workday integrations and data flow between systemsUtilize Workday tools such as Request Framework, forms, and questionnairesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver system solutionsTroubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing production supportManage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment(Senior) Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on reporting and system capabilities(Senior) Support data governance initiatives and ensure data integrity and complianceQualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)Workday Analyst: 35 years of relevant Workday experienceSenior Workday Analyst: 58 years of Workday experienceExperience configuring Workday business processes and condition rulesKnowledge of Workday security and integration conceptsExperience with Workday Request Framework, forms, and questionnairesStrong understanding of HR and Finance business processesExperience with reporting and calculated fields (required for Senior level)Exposure to Workday Prism, Drive, and Worksheets preferred (Senior level)Knowledge of Student systems is a plusStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesIdeal Candidate ProfileHands-on Workday professional who can balance functional and technical responsibilitiesExperience working in a higher education or similarly complex environment preferredStrong stakeholder management and customer service mindsetSelf-starter who can work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teamsComfortable operating in a structured yet evolving system environmentDemonstrates attention to detail, data integrity, and process improvement mindsetDexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
