Civil Construction Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Construction Project Manager to join a growing team in Nebraska. This role will oversee a variety of heavy civil projects including underground wet utilities, site development, roadway/highway work, paving, and bridge-related projects. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage projects from pre-construction through closeout while maintaining safety, quality, schedules, and budgets.ResponsibilitiesManage civil construction projects from start to finishOversee underground wet utility projects including water, sewer, and storm systemsCoordinate site development, grading, paving, roadway, and bridge-related scopesDevelop and maintain project schedules and budgetsManage subcontractors, vendors, field crews, and project documentationHandle RFIs, change orders, submittals, and procurementMaintain strong communication with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field teamsMonitor project safety, quality control, and productionAssist with estimating, project planning, and forecastingEnsure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budgetQualifications5+ years of experience in civil construction project management preferredBackground in underground utilities, heavy civil, highway, paving, or bridge constructionStrong understanding of DOT, municipal, and private civil projectsExperience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to read and interpret plans, specifications, and civil drawingsKnowledge of excavation, grading, utility installation, and sitework operationsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management softwareValid driver's license requiredDegree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred but not required with equivalent experienceCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience401(k) Paid time off and paid holidaysCareer advancement opportunitiesLong-term stable workloadSupportive team-oriented environmentAnd more...
