SuperintendentLocation: Brighton, MISalary: $110,000 - $120,000We are working with a well-established design-build general contractor based in Brighton, Michigan to find a Superintendent to lead field operations on their commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of field construction activities, working closely with the Senior Superintendent and Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and on budget.What You'll DoCoordinate, supervise, and monitor all field construction activitiesCollaborate with project team members, including engineers, architects, third-party consultants, and subcontractorsIdentify and propose or implement solutions to project issues in coordination with the Senior Superintendent and Project ManagerReview and maintain a working understanding of project plans and specifications, ensuring current documents are in use on-siteSchedule day-to-day field activities to meet overall project scheduling objectivesMaintain the construction schedule and continuously update the 3-Week Look-Ahead ScheduleDirect subcontractors to meet schedule, quality, and safety expectationsAssist Project Managers in the final selection of subcontractors and suppliersCoordinate inspections with municipal officials and third-party agenciesSupport jobsite safety through consistent expectations and enforcementDocument daily progress, issues, and as-built conditions using Microsoft TeamsAttend company and industry events, including meetings, trainings, and workshopsPromote and contribute to maintaining company cultureWhat You'll Bring3 or more years of successful Superintendent experience with a reputable commercial contractorExperience in scheduling, field supervision, quality control, and production across all phases of commercial constructionComfortable managing multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in MS Project for schedulingComfort using Microsoft Teams as a primary platform for field documentation, daily reports, and coordinationOSHA 30 certification requiredValid driver's licenseCollege degree in construction management or a related field preferred but not requiredWhat You'll GainA competitive salary of $110,000 to $120,000, based on experienceVehicle allowance and company-issued cell phone and laptop or tabletCompany-sponsored health insurance and company-matched 401(k)Flexible vacation, sick, and time-off policy along with performance-based bonus opportunitiesAt Framework, we keep it simple: we connect great people with great builders.
