Work with the technical aspects of designing and digital process for fabrication of Orthotics and/or Prosthetic devices. Your Impact Oversee digital processes (scanning and designing) to fabricate orthotic and/or prosthetic devicesUtilize computer design processes to generate digital files for manufacturingEnforce required quality and productivity standards to lead the CDC teamContact clinicians and fabrication centers to resolve technical issues on designs or modification used in fabricationDirect and assist training of Design technicians in all aspects of design process & quality standardsFacilitate communication with clinicians on technical issues to ensure expectations are met and resolve any issues to promote excellent serviceEnsure all Computer Design Center (CDC) employees understand expectations for service and design protocolsDrive continuous cross training to promote flexibility among the entire CDC teamProvide employees with all necessary resources and direct feedback so they can fully achieve the expectations of their positionAssist, direct, and set goals in the organization to improve efficiency and enforce quality and operational standardsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years of related experience; orHigh School Diploma / GED with a minimum of five years’ of related experienceAdditional Success FactorsTechnical ability with computer design programs to manipulate shapes for defined outcomeStrong general knowledge of computer systems, work flows for digital files and networksAbility to read and understand work measurement formsEffective organizational, time management and planning skillsGood interpersonal and verbal skills for communicating with othersAbility to work effectively as a team memberAbility to supervise Orthotics and/or Prosthetics Design techniciansKnowledge of Computer Design systems and best practices Demonstrated competency in computer design of O&P devicesAct with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.Keep the patient at the center of everything that you do, building lifelong trust.Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around you.Continuously innovate new solutions, influencing and responding to change.Focus on superior outcomes, and calibrate work processes for outstanding results.
