Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling warehouse operations. The qualified candidate will organize activities and assign jobs according to the allotted staffing. The warehouse supervisor is responsible for managing stock control, receipt, storage, and retrieval of goods and ensure the timely delivery of outgoing trucks.
Essential Job Functions:
Coach, train, and develop our team.
Lead our team of Forklift Operators in their daily tasks.
Assist the Warehouse Manager in ensuring effective and complete staffing for all required activities, to include CDL driver and trailer management.
Oversee training and LMS requirements.
Ensure Kanban inventories are accurately maintained and replenished as required.
Generate Production, Staging, and Stacking plans as required.
Setting up production lines.
Stacking and organizing materials in the warehouse.
Accurately ship outbound trucks to customers.
Properly fill out paperwork for outgoing shipments.
Virtually ship sales orders in TemperPacks ERP system.
Ensure that customers products are accurately and safely loaded.
Accurately receive raw materials to the warehouse.
Verify that incoming loads physically and virtually match.
Properly fill out paperwork for incoming loads.
Virtually receive POs in TemperPacks ERP system.
Safely stack and transport materials to the appropriate location.
Effectively manage the timesheets of warehouse staffing.
Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.
Prepare and maintain paperwork for incoming/outgoing drivers.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse office area.
Participate in monthly inventory counts.
Education and Certifications:
High School degree or GED
3-5 years of Warehousing, Manufacturing, or Distribution experience, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience
Physical Requirements:
Be on your feet for 10-12 hours
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
Ability to work in hot and cold environments
Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts
