Senior Controls Technician - HVAC

Summary of Position Control Technologies is growing fast, and we want you to join our team! We are on the search for an experienced Control Service Technician to support our team based out of Peabody, MA. The position shall maintain and repair heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment (HVAC) control systems. Successful candidate will be responsible to troubleshoot and repair HVAC control system problems at the customer facility. Responsibilities and Duties · Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating ventilation and air conditioning Direct Digital Control (DDC) System at the customer facility · Maintains computer hardware, software, and licenses as required to assure properly operating equipment · Commission and verify proper functionality of field controllers · Keep management and customer informed of job progress and issues. · Work with minimal supervision, independent and Self-motivated Qualifications · A minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC experience. · Factory Certified with control DDC systems a plus: Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Distech, Trane, Siemens, Andover, or Schneider. · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and technical writing. · Valid driver’s license required. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from heights and a ladder is required.
