Event Engineers (Event Assistants)

Encore Events, a nationally recognized leader in private event entertainment, is seeking Event Production Assistants (internally known as Event Engineers) to support our growing team. Every unforgettable wedding or packed dance floor starts long before guests arrive. Our Event Engineers are the crew responsible for turning empty venues into fully produced, high-energy environments through professional sound, lighting, and event technology. This role is ideal for someone who naturally steps up when something needs to be built, enjoys working hands-on with equipment, and thrives in a fast-moving, team-oriented setting. Key Responsibilities: Set up and test professional audio and lighting systems prior to guest arrival Work alongside the lead DJ to support event flow and execution Operate photo booths and other interactive event enhancements Assist with capturing content and event moments when needed Efficiently strike and pack equipment at the conclusion of events This is an active, visible role within the event team. You are not on the sidelines. You are part of what makes the experience successful.
