Job DescriptionThis position will be field based within the Tri-State Region (NY, NJ, CT, RI). We, in turn, provide our Professional Services Veterinarians with a culture of support, development, and continuous learning to assure we reach our shared goals.Responsibilities Function as an integral member of the Regional Leadership Team supporting territory managers by demonstrating and conveying the value and benefits of our company's Animal Health portfolio through: Preparation and delivery of technical lectures on our product line to key customers, strategic accounts, and professional veterinary organizationsOffering solutions that align with customer needs and business prioritiesPartner with Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute effective business strategy to reach and exceed regional and organizational priorities for lasting successMeet with key opinion leaders in both clinical and university settings to discuss our company's Animal Health portfolio as well as potential new business opportunitiesRepresent our company's Animal Health at veterinary schools and veterinary associations and conferencesServe as the region’s technical expert, evaluating regional and individual technical training needs of the sales representatives and coaching sales representatives in technical selling skillsCollaborate with R&D, Learning and Development, Marketing, Veterinary Insights & Medical Affairs, and Sales to achieve organizational prioritiesPosition QualificationsEducation Minimum Requirement:Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degreeRequired Experience And Skills10 years of combined relevant experience: Minimum of 5 years in clinical companion animal veterinary practice and minimum of 5 years in the animal health industry or equivalent leadership and/or management experience.Ability to take complex issues and translate into easily comprehensible content for respective audiencesExcellent presentation and facilitation skillsExcellent oral and written communications skills both with internal customers and hospital decision makersServe as a medical consultant in vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeuticsAbility to influence without direct authorityAbility to build strong networks internally and with industry partnersBring innovative solutions to both internal challenges as well as those faced by our customers.Competency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Competency in software relevant to the industry, e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, Power BI, etc.Proven ability to work with cross functional teams both internal and external Execute core responsibilities of Professional Services Veterinarian independentlyStrong understanding of business processes of our veterinary customers and the ability to have discussions regarding using our company's Animal Health portfolio to improve medical capabilities and profitability.Preferred Experience And SkillsExperience with companion animal vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeuticsApplicable advanced degrees and research experienceDelivery of training or instruction within a structured organizationLeadership and/or management experienceRequired SkillsAnimal Health Sales, Collaboration, Customer-Focused, Leadership, Presentations, Sales, Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Practice, Veterinary SciencesPreferred SkillsCurrent Employees apply HERECurrent Contingent Workers apply HEREUS And Puerto Rico Residents OnlyOur company is committed to inclusion, ensuring that candidates can engage in a hiring process that exhibits their true capabilities.
