That’s why we’re a Certified Great Place to Work, recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Startup Employers in both 2024 and 2025, and earn top ratings on Glassdoor.MissionThe Data Migration Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring customers experience a smooth, fast, and accurate onboarding journey by handling one of the most high-stakes parts of the process: importing their historical data into DoorLoop.You’ll be responsible for coordinating and executing customer data migrations from start to finish, reviewing data files, validating formatting, flagging issues, and ensuring 100% accuracy. You’ll also act as a trusted communicator to customers and internal stakeholders (Implementation Managers, Product, Support) to keep migrations on track and expectations aligned.This is a hands-on, operationally rigorous role for someone who thrives on precision, speed, and cross-functional collaboration.ResponsibilitiesReview incoming customer data files (CSV, Excel, PDF exports) and prepare them for import using internal templates and toolingComplete assigned migrations within 1 business day of final file receiptTrack and prioritize multiple concurrent migration requests to meet weekly throughput targetsPartner with Implementation Managers to clarify requirements and remove blockersValidate the completeness and accuracy of migrated data across properties, leases, tenants, rent rolls, and financialsTroubleshoot and correct any formatting or logic issues before importPerform detailed quality assurance checks before customer handoffEscalate technical or edge-case scenarios when necessary and document resolutionsProvide migration status updates to customers and internal teams within 2 business days of data submissionRespond to escalations or urgent issues within 1 business dayAlign migration timelines with onboarding milestones and customer expectationsContribute to internal documentation and FAQs for common data challengesRequirements2+ years of experience in a data operations, implementation, onboarding, or support roleExcellent spreadsheet skills (VLOOKUP, filters, conditional formatting, data cleanup)Experience working with structured data formats (CSV, Excel, database exports, etc.)High attention to detail with strong QA and troubleshooting instinctsProven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks without sacrificing accuracyClear, timely communicator—both in writing and verbally—with a proactive mindsetComfortable interfacing with customers and cross-functional teamsBonus: Experience using Salesforce, OneSchema, Claude (or other AI tools), and working in a SaaS onboarding environmentBenefitsUnlimited paid time off: take unlimited personal, sick, and vacation days.401(k): plan for retirement with 4% matching and instant vesting.Medical, dental, and vision insurance: we offer full medical coverage for employees through United Healthcare and full dental and vision coverage through Guardian, with 25% coverage for dependents across all plans.Life insurance: $100,000 policy fully covered by DoorLoop.Disability insurance: short- and long-term disability insurance fully covered by DoorLoop.Paid parental leave: paid maternity and paternity leave for birth and adoption.Monthly stipend: a dedicated budget for work-related expenses.Best-in-class equipment: Get a company laptop and all the top-tier tools to set you up for success
