The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable backend systems, APIs, and cloud-based applications, along with practical exposure to machine learning model development and ML-driven features.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Python.Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Integrate machine learning models and AI-driven features into production systems.Develop and support ML pipelines, data workflows, and model deployment services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.Participate in design discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment cycles.Required SkillsStrong backend engineering experience with Java (required) and Python (required).Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.Experience with machine learning model development, training pipelines, or ML feature engineering.Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.Strong understanding of data tooling and backend integration.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and within an existing engineering team.Preferred QualificationsExperience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience working in AI/ML product or data-driven engineering environments.Additional InformationFull Time roleHybrid work model (3 days onsite in Austin, TX)
