The Role: Autonomous Service Technician This is a pure Field Service role. You will be dispatched directly to homeowners to diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain residential HVAC systems. You must be completely comfortable running solo on service calls and acting as the face of the company. What You Will Do: Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance and system tune-ups. Act as the primary technical expert on-site, explaining complex issues to homeowners in a clear, friendly, and honest manner. Manage your daily route efficiently and complete digital service tickets. Maintain a clean, highly organized, and well-stocked take-home company van. What We Are Looking For (Strict Requirements): The Experience: Proven, hands-on experience specifically running residential HVAC service and diagnostic calls. (Note: We need a strong service tech, not just an installer). The Independence: You must be completely self-reliant. You do not need a supervisor to hold your hand through a complex diagnosis. You can walk into a customer's home, find the problem, and fix it solo. The "Soft Skills": You must be excellent in person. You are the face of the company, which means professionalism, a positive attitude, and transparent communication with homeowners are non-negotiable. The Certifications: An active EPA Certification is required. The Logistics: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
