Job DescriptionNumber of Positions: 2Duration: 4+ monthsDates: September - December, 2026Location: Onsite in Sunnyvale, CAEDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS:Currently a candidate pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering with an accredited school in the US.How You Will Contribute And What You Will LearnWe are seeking motivated, self‑driven students who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in high‑speed hardware design. As part of our team, you will help with:Cuttingedge lab experience – Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and digital debug tools to troubleshoot realworld signalintegrity challenges.Mentorship from senior engineers – Join a highperforming IP Routing team that will guide you through complex board bringup and testing.Impactful projects – Contribute to the next generation of Service Router hardware that powers global networks. Key Skills And ExperienceCoursework or project experience with high-speed digital design, PCB layout, or signal integrity analysis.Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and basic digital debugging techniques.Strong problem-solving mindset, self motivation, and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.It would be nice if you also had:Proficiency in a PCB design tool (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, KiCad) and basic simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, HyperLynx). Programming/scripting – Experience with Python, Tcl, or MATLAB for automating test setups, data analysis, or generating design scripts.Embedded firmware basics – Ability to write or debug simple firmware (C/C++) for microcontrollers or FPGA softcores used in board bringup.
