Business Development CoordinatorMcGuireWoods is searching for a Business Development Coordinator to join a highly skilled, energetic business development team. The business development team works across geographic lines to support revenue-generating opportunities for departments, industry teams and client teams.McGuireWoods, one of the world's leading law firms, has provided legal solutions to corporate, individual and nonprofit clients since 1834. Along with excellent benefits, McGuireWoods offers most employees a hybrid remote option allowing flexibility and work-life balance.ResponsibilitiesDraft and project manage directory submissions (e.g. Chambers, Legal 500) and other practice or industry-specific rankingsMaintain various lists critical for reporting on BD plan ROITrack incoming work and referrals, practice group successes, opportunity outcomes and targeting effortsMaintain and update collateral, representative work, and website contentAssist with pitches and proposals, including drafting, accurately managing the editing process, and producing error-free deliverablesAssist with budget managementSupport team with organizing and executing in-person and virtual events, seminars, webinars, receptions, sponsorships and attorney speaking engagements (includes: invites/eCommunications, agenda preparation, materials management, RSVPs, website presence, external sponsors, etc.)QualificationsRequires a bachelors degreeA minimum of one year of experience in marketing, business and practice development, or a related field; exposure to a professional services firm, preferably a law firm environment, is a plusExcellent time management and job management skillsExcellent communication skills written and oral and ability to work at all levelsAbility to effectively multitask and prioritize short and long-term project deadlinesAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesAttention to detail, ensuring a quality productGood systems and database skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM applicationsHave more questions?
